Land’s End to John O’Groats and back again

I have just taken part in a team bike ride with a twist. We committed to cycling from Land’s End to John O’Groats and back again, a whopping 1676 miles.

In order for the team to complete this challenge, it was difficult for everyone to take so much time out of the office and away from families so we decided to setup some static bikes in the office.

I gave myself a target of 100 miles in 3 days and I’m happy to say I did 101! (For some reason I felt I had to do 1 more.)

We were doing all of this to raise money for a fantastic charity called Sparks. Sparks fund life-saving medical research into conditions affecting babies, children and mums-to-be. They aim to improve the quality of life for children and families affected by serious illness or disability today, whilst seeking ways to better diagnose, treat and prevent these conditions in the future.
